As stated in the Introduction to Flaming Spirit, " …not much attention
was paid to the definition of the term Asian… recently a woman from Baghdad
asked if she could join, I realised that the term Asian could be broadened
to a more meaningful and practical way. In this context, Asian can be
defined to include women who came from countries beyond South Asia such
as China, Japan, Turkey, Middle East and the Diasporas.
